The 2nd National Championship Bic Techno 293 One Design was organized with great success at Vouliagmeni Nautical Club from 24 to 26 September 2010.
26 athletes participated at the event and the fleet was divided into age categories, under 17 and under 15 years. During the three days of racing prevailed various weather conditions. On the first day we had very low north east wind intensity, turned east and strengthened slightly during the second and final race.
On the second day , 3 races were completed with completely different conditions. The strong south wind with big waves, was favorable only for athletes of high class, while the youngest were faced a lot of difficulties and most of them didn’t finished.
Sunday was a different date and a moderate southwest wind has allowed young athletes to compete all the 3 races.
Congratulations to all the kids who participated, the coaches and those who in any way support this new class, which is essentially the pathway for the Olympic RS: X board. We hope to see in the future even more entries and to take the best from the European organization committee for the rapid class development.
